Meet the Directors of Silverstone Recruitment.

Chris Vanderwoude

Chris has been directly involved in the recruitment industry since 2008, working on both an internal and external recruitment basis during that time. He holds a degree in both Human Resources Management and Education.

Chris takes a very ethical approach to his work, valuing honesty and transparency with clients and candidates above all else. He specialises in both white and blue collar recruitment across industries including, but not limited to, Mining, Construction and Oil & Gas.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family, playing/watching sport, spending time at the beach and travelling as much as possible.

Josh Grosse

Josh brings 20+ years of global experience working in business management, property, education and executive search recruitment. With a mantra to be “authentic and deliver” Josh instills confidence in his clients by helping them to improve their investment in people through comprehensive search and select skills.

Highly networked in the market, and committed to producing the very top talent, Josh specialises in the Corporate sector across a variety of fields including Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas and Finance.

A dedicated family man, Josh loves spending time with his wife and 2 young girls and if hes not at work you can often find him down the beach surfing. He runs marathons for fun, has a thirst for travelling and loves to get involved in local charities and sport.

Saul Contera

Saul comes with a business qualification & 15 years of experience having worked in hospitality, sales and recruitment.

Saul prides himself on being an expert with a deep knowledge of the talent pool within the industry. His track record includes successfully building many teams for operations across Australia within the mining, maintenance & construction sectors. Saul has gained much exposure to the market & developed a large network in his time, he has an in-depth understanding of his client’s needs, as well as his candidate’s motivations.

Saul presents an honest and direct approach, with a proven ability to deliver outcomes but also develop long term partnerships with both clients and candidates alike.

Outside of work Saul has a young family who he loves spending time with. He likes to keep active, loves to travel and has a very strong passion for sport.

Born in Madrid (Spain) Saul is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish fluently.
